I am always on the lookout for new ideas to use in my training classes to keep them up to date. Pet dog obedience can be a bit repetitive if you are not wanting to train for competitive obedience. But there is a new sport called rally obedience, or rally-o for short that has come across from the US to the UK.
I went along to a training day for level 1 of rally-o and really had fun. It is challenging for the dogs and the handlers and the idea behind it is to compete against yourself – so you always want to try and improve your previous scores.
