I have been taking my 1yr old dog, Bailey – a loving (but very bouncy) Staff/Mastiff cross, to trg for about 10 weeks now. At the start it was very hard as I thought she was never going to learn ANYTHING!! but with the help of Nadia and all the other dogs and owners that train with with us, it is finally starting to fall into place (for me as well as Bailey). Once Bailey has settled (which can take a while – and no-one gets annoyed while this happens) we have a great class.
I reccomend these classes even if you think there is no hope for your dog (or you)
just come along and see us train – there is always hope lol
As a first time dog owner ,I didnt have any experience of dogs at all.So when we got our dog Joshua a staff/labrador ,who is now 9 months old,I wanted some guidance on how and what to train him.
I called Nadia and she was very reassuring and helpful and anwsered my questions.I have been training Joshua for 11 weeks now and he has really improved in his behaviour ,we are much more confident with him and he loves coming to training and has made a few doggy friends!
He is nearly there with his recalls at the park and a lot better at lead walking and has learnt lots of essential commands as well as a few fun tricks.
All the family can take part which is good with 3 children and this also teaches them what to do.We’ ve still got a long way to go,but every lesson we learn more and Josh has a great time!
We contacted Nadia to help us train our first puppy Teddy. We had 3 private lessons to start with as we have missed the start of puppy classes. Nadia was professional, approachable and has masses of common sense. With her help(and a lot of dog treats) we learnt alongside Teddy. He is 9 months old now and we go to Nadia’s Saturday morning class. Teddy loves it! We have mastered sit, down, stay, come,heal,give,fetch, walking on and off lead, socializing with other dogs and all with rewards not punishment. Teddy comes back from the class and sleeps all day, which as any puppy owner will tell you is a dream!
