My top tip: I have a very playful destructive 1yr old Staff/Mastiff. I would come home to total devastation and even at night when left. She would always be upset when I returned because she knew she had done something wrong but didnt understand what! My perfect solution was to buy a crate for her. I was a bit worried at first that she would hate it. I bought the largest I could find so she had plenty of space to move around and although it doesnt look very nice she took to it straight away and this is now her own private space (no children or cats allowed) and is always happy when i get home or come down in the morning. And I have a tidy(ish) home
